This is an accessible event for all bodies.

Join community members and institutional partners for a walking-tour of the Huhugam Ki Museum to learn about the history of the Salt River and the river's relationship to Indigenous history and present-date communities. This event is supported in partnership with the City of Phoenix Office of Environmental Programs.

POLITICS OF PLACE: The Rio Salado

Join InSite Consultants and City of Phoenix Office of Environmental Programs for a storytelling event focused on stories of food, land, and history of south Phoenix residents. Walk along the Rio Salado to learn about place and politics through story with residents. This is a partnership with Raji Ganesan, the South Mountain Storytellers Institute, and the City of Phoenix Office of Environmental Programs. This is a walking event, but pedi-cabs will be onsite to support movement throughout the event.
